Day 1  – Mon 10 October 2022

Arrival

Arrival at Heraklion by 1pm where you will be picked up by our fabulous driver Deborah (aka the Magick Carpet Driver) and driven to Chrissi Amoudia Hotel Bungalows.

Settle into your personal bungalow, have a swim, take a walk on the beach or have a rest and then at 6pm meet us in the Temple for our Opening Circle, introductions and intentions, followed by dinner with all our new Goddess sisters.

Heraklion Archaeological Museum

8am: Chanting in Temple and check in circle before breakfast.

10am: bus tour to Heraklion Archaeological Museum to see the powerful artefacts and statues of the Goddesses and Priestesses found in the temples of Crete. Be astounded by the size and scale of the Knossos Temple and the beauty of the Snake Goddess. Lunch at a beautiful Greek taverna and we’ll pick up a few items for ceremony (and shop) in the Heraklion markets.

Back to the Chrissi and a Greek Banquet Dinner and dancing!

Archanes and Skortino Cave

8am: Chanting in Temple and check in circle before breakfast.

10am: bus tour to the extraordinary Archanes Museum with Priestess remains and artefacts and then to the Fourni burial site and Tomb of the Unknown Priestess where we will do a special ceremony.

A local taverna lunch and then descending into the sacredness and majesty of the Skortino cave.

Day 4 – Thurs 13 October 2022

Agios Thomas and Knossos Temple

8am: Chanting in Temple and check in circle before breakfast.

10am: bus tour to the sacred village of Agios Thomas, said to be the naval of Crete.  The Goddess is particularly evident here—not surprising with the town church being built over a temple—with plaques bearing Her name and a series of mysterious grottos.  These grottos are where the Priestesses would go to vision and dream, and they are the perfect place to connect deeply with Goddess and ask for a special blessing.

Then a local taverna lunch and onto the famous Knossos Temple where we will do a beautiful ceremony. Then purchase some gorgeous Goddess statues or other Crete goodies and back to hotel for a debrief and dinner.

Day 5 – Fri 14 October 2022

Phaistos Temple, Southern Crete

8am Chanting in Temple and check in circle before breakfast.

10am: bus tour to the wild and rugged southern side of Crete and the Phaistos Temple where the famous Phaistos disk was found.

Lunch at a taverna at Kalamaki Beach and a dip in the Mediterranean Sea for those brave enough. Healing ceremony on the beach and singing in the bus on the way home.

Day 6 – Sat 15 October 2022

Minoan Pottery, Sedoni Cave

8am: Chanting in Temple and check in circle before breakfast.

10am: a trip to visit Nikos-Giorgos Pottery workshop (father and son pictured) where we’ll be shown how they make traditional Minoan ceramics. Nikos-Giorgos’ son is a 4th generation potter.

Then up into the mountain area of Anogia to visit the famous limestone Sedoni Cave (with a guided tour). This is the land of Amalthea, Goddess of the Goats.  Lunch at another local taverna under the trees and shopping for beautiful linen and crocheted products by the local women. Back to the hotel for debrief, dinner and downtime.

Day 7 – Sun 16 October 2022

Malia Temple

8am: Chanting in Temple and check in circle before breakfast.

10am: bus tour to the beautiful coastal Malia Temple —teaching temple of the Priestesses and a magnificent omphalos stone. Lunch at Malia beach and more shopping and a ceremony by the sea and dip for those who want to.  Rest before dinner and our Closing Ceremony that evening.
